This is really sad and a disservice to our veterans in my opinion.  

Sadly many love this promise of Financial freedom- but no headaches!

Sadly many equate completing a BRRRR as a successful investment, but explain to me where you are going to make money in the hypothetical transaction I just shared? 

I'm eyeing an REI meet up next month (just found one and sadly missed it last week) to meet new folks in the industry, but if anyone is willing to help in any way, a fellow newbie would be much appreciative.

@Sterling Pompey the home possible was our go to loan four or five years ago, but some changes were made in 2019 that made it very challenging to use sadly.

I'm sad I have to wait until new ones come out now that I'm caught up.

But relying on a HELOC in a down turn there are going to be some sad folks out there if that is their thought process..

sadly a lot of this seems like putting the sand back in the bottle or however the saying goes. the OZ law is pretty clear about the need to establish an OZ fund to invest in OZs. that said, never used CrowdStreet.
