Generally you want to take care of things inside the walls first (plumbing, wiring, ductwork, insulation) then drywall/paint, then cabinets/vanities, then flooring and trim.

Rehabbed the kitchen (new IKEA cabinets) and fixed the toilet/replaced sink in bathroom - the contractor who sold it put a brand new bathroom vanity in but none of the contractors must have bothered to sit on the toilet and see if it fit your knees when sitting on toilet - totally awkward and would NOT work - had to replace that brand new vanity with a small sink (no base) - grrrr.

I have a large job that I want to start in June/July repainting a 2800sqft triplex.The job I probably big enough to break out the sprayer and I want to time it with removing the cabinets/vanities so they can just hook up the equipment and go.There is some light other work as well.
