Historically speaking, Bay Area homeownership has almost always been a good or even spectacular investment. 

We remodeled the entire house, with master, hall and basement baths redone, kitchen spectacularly remodeled, and everything looking sweet.

Without women, most men would probably be broke while a few would be spectacularly rich, for the same reasons.

Our portfolio is still growing on a scheduled rate and there is a reason I am paying a multiple for properties which do not "cash flow" on a spectacular rate.
