I am currently deployed to South West Asia with my home station being in Germany.

Please don't hire the likes of southwest or beacon plumbing... :)Also, and I've only worked with them once for extensive work, pricebustersplumbing.com. 

My hope is that there is some upside due to the climate here (vs. adding a garage on a property, say, in the southwest).

Hello,I am looking for an accountant in the Fort Myers / Southwest Florida area.I have been using a national accounting firm but want to transition to a local firm that has experience dealing with real estate investors.Anyone have any recommendations based on personal experience ? 

I'm looking more in the South/Southwest area and just finding it really tough.

That's on the south-west side of town that historically has been rundown mill houses (Sullivan, Dunean, Sterling)  All the boarded up houses have sold in the past 3 years and not much is for sale that isn't the back end of a flip.  

Amenities suitable to the region... for example a swimming pool in the Southwest, but not so desired in the Northwest.

I prefer the mid-west or the south-east/ south-west.
