I refocus and remind myself that this is a long term proposition and the short term gratification may not line up with the long term focus of where I want to be.

It's nice to see fellow millennials who have a sense of delayed gratification and strive for financial freedom!

They need to start cultivating good financial habits and attitudes such as saving, comparison shopping (within reason), practicing self-discipline by delaying gratification, etc.

My goal is to someday have enough properties to donate to charities that help Sexual Assault Victims, especially at colleges.  

My point with all this is you need to know where every penny goes, not spend for gratification, not purchase something until you have the asset to pay for it and STOP the loss! 

That said, if you can accept the concept of delayed gratification, you could use such a tool to create a significant amount of tax-free wealth for yourself later in life.

They just would rather be exempt from it.They know there are users abusing the system, perpetrating all sorts of fraud, actual violent criminal actions,  sexual assaults, robberies etc including tax evasion but fail to do what is necessary to thwart these issues.
