I am considering investing into this syndication, they are a housing development syndication fund. https://broadstreetglobalfund....Anyone have any experience working with them?

Utah and the areas I am looking at in the Salt Lake County/Utah County area seem to be too high to meet the 1% rule, and it seems to be harder to find deals that cash flow, but that could be because of my lack of experience. 

Has anyone transitioned from a construction manager role with a large company to developing real estate on their own.What has that experience been like?

LOL  a softer way to say this is if your simply looking to become a landlord this is a very easy subject to read up on and learn and understand U do not need to pay someone to teach it to you. 

Once you get done to that level experience really helps, visiting the area or having someone that knows the area, really helps as well.

We've been going to duplex open houses in Cleveland & Akron and a few showings with our agent who has more experience in the Akron area, to learn about neighborhoods, price, quality, etc.

I have read the book on long distance investing and still am not too confident to get started.

I have been listening to the podcast for a few months now and watching the "Real Estate for Rookies" YouTube show and I've been learning and also reading different books on real-estate investing.
