Since you agreed to give it to him, I would, but when the lease expires, I would ask him to remove that clause or at least have a discussion about why he wants it, if you elect to stay there.I would place in writing the violations on his side, that you know he violated your privacy and is breaking the law to not provide you adequate notice, and that you will take him to court if he does it again.

I wanted to get insight on whether the window subtracts because it creates less privacy in the bedroom or ADDS because it is a more open office.

I called the bank and they can't give me any info because of privacy but they did tell me it wasn't showing as an REO property.

On another note, you could buy some nice piece of house in homestead with that pre approval and perhaps rent out a bedroom or two until you save enough to seal out a little private unit for privacy and rent raise.

Because of privacy laws the county would not even acknowledge that the office resided there, and the State Vital Statistics office would not give out a copy of the death certificate without a court order, also to comply with privacy laws. 

Since its our neighborhood and a smaller number of properties, we want our letters to stand out and be personal, yet also want to protect our family's privacy - we have two small children.

because I'm not doing a land trust for privacy reasons. it's just for protection against personal liabilities such as bankruptcy.   

Tons of reasons why these little places are popular with buyers... additional income, a place for Mom, a place for that kid that just came back home, Airbnb with a little privacy...
