Providing you have less than four (4) mortgages or less, you will need 20% of the purchase price to put down (Most major commercial banks (BOA, Chase Etc..) will do mortgages 1-4 at 20% down, 25%+ for mortgages 5-10(not typically done by major commercial banks but can be found with investor friendly banks, check your local hard money lenders to see who they deal with since most HM lenders will not lend to you unless you get pre-approved to move the debt to a conventional loan after a pre-determined amount of time)).

Why don't we have generic food pantry packages of pre-determined "normal off brand/store brand" food that's determined by nutritionists at WIC (not pricey Starbucks or deli takeout) instead of food stamps to give people some incentive to get a job so they can get nicer food and coffee of their choice?

I pay in predetermined intervals as work is completed, holding the largest portion until 100 percent completion. i also always buy materials independent of contractor, which avoids conflicts of interest pertaining to quality of materials bought and reducing material costs to have more money pocketed to contractor on flat money jobs.

But here's what I can share:1) There is a ~$100k asset minimum (give or take) needed in your account in order to do this.2) This can't be with an electronic/self-managed brokerage account; it must be held with an investment professional3) Like a credit card or HELOC, there is a minimum monthly payment, but there is no fixed amount or term.4) The rate is variable, changing daily, but right now I am paying about 6.5% with the current interest rate environment.5) You cannot borrow against the full value of your portfolio, just a pre-determined percentage of it.
