Hundreds of miles offshore, in the middle of the Bermuda Triangle, sailing to a tiny island, BP was there keeping me fired up about the future after our sailing adventure. 

Honestly, when I’m making decisions like this, I find a few comparable properties on Airbnb in each location & pay my offshore assistants to track these properties every day for the next few months & record how much $$ they’re making.

That doesn't happen when you have an offshore call center stealing private information.

If I could also build a remote network, I could use self-manage + local on-demand tasks + offshore virtual assistant.  

I have my offshore assistants request IDs from guests and that is my get out of jail free card anytime I need to cancel the reservation!!!

Tax off-shored capital even harder.

We used a Texas based LLC to give the investors a sense of security that a U.S. based company will be owning the property as opposed to setting up an off-shore entity to hold title to the property.

And even those who are close rarely go to their vacation rentals and typically only go to use the house for their personal use not because they need to go for any reason related to the business.You can either remotely self-manage like many on here do, or hire an inexpensive offshore PM who works US hours & speaks eloquent English (that’s what I do).
