I'm hoping to find out if STRs are allowed in Avondale, what the minimum number of nights a guest must stay (I've heard 7 nights but haven't been able to confirm that), and whether the owner has to reside on the property during the rental period.

Save a few properties and watch them on the rental market if you are looking to do LTRs.or If you are looking to do STR find local listings and watch those listings and check the booking availability week to see how they perform and how far out they get booked and the nightly cost.

@Jason Redeker happy to answer any questions about operating short-term rentals in the Lake Geneva area...I'm the owner of Elite Lake Rentals and we manage 7 fully-licensed homes there...3 in the city limits (180 consecutive short-term rental days with the remaining 6-months being 30-night min or 1 rental per month) and 4 other homes that can be rented year-round.
