I'm thinking this is high, but it is a lot of work and they are providing all of the recessed lighring, materials and that includes adding hardwired smoke and CO detectors throughout the house.

Why go through the motions of putting a property under contract if there you're not sure it will sell?

The judicial order is written as a hearing, MOTION TO DETERMINE RENT.

We are wrapping up a slow motion live-in-flip, which will have ended up taking 3.5 years.

My step-father has received a letter from a lawyer that pertains to a Motion for Relief From Stay.

I pretty much just added smoke detectors, cleaned it real well, added some shelving and smoke detectors.  

Motions for relief from the stay can stop this tactic but just be sure what is going on.

(Anyone who BS detector is on the fritz these things to not exist:) )If you need to borrow most of the money (unless you have very good terms) and plan to sell with an agent you would be lucky to break even on this deal.
