Medicine isn't worth it because of the educational time commitment and student loans you'll end up graduating with.

For as much as large builders cut cost corners, they used plenty of blocking behind cabinets and even for medicine cabinets in the bathrooms regardless of if they were ordered.

But as long as food cost's money, Doctors, medicine, clothing, eye glasses, etc etc., yes happiness is directly regulated via ones amount of money, because all those things that bring happiness, cost MONEY. 

If you are talking about investing in a city where the average house price is lower, then it can work (eg don't invest in Toronto, ON, but in Medicine Hat, AB). 

The answer "nothing much, we only had water coming out of the medicine cabinet, we just didn't want to bother you since it's no big deal".I had triplexes where I had pest problems.

Lastly, I have a friend who is a doctor who holds an administrative position with the local college of medicine.

I asked him how they can have no tax on corporate earnings or interest income.Answer NO social welfare... you either make it or you don't... education medicine and housing is government subsidized but you must be gainfully employeed and in many cases married..

One of the drawbacks from a service-based industry like medicine, is that in order for me to be compensated, I have to physically be at work.
