I could have put a bandaid on as it still worked but I pride my houses in being higher end and good quality.As we continued with the house, I ended up putting in over the top finishes such as heated tile floors in the master bath and sound insulation under the hardwood floors to reduce noise transmission to basement.

Grinding one day at a time. 

Live for about $1,100/month in a nice town without the noise, traffic and congestion in the Tufts area.

@Kimberly Jones I agree and would add even with the current rules allowing commercially zoned properties to operate STRs, those rules can change at any time provided the right voters (campaign contributors) make enough noise.

As I have been reaching out to potential investors and doing the cold call grind (like many of you are probably all too familiar with), I keep getting pushback when I say "wholesaler." 

          Before I took property management in house, we had a noise complaint that the police responded to. 

Constant noise.

Shared utilities and noise complaints will be an issue in many cases.
