What are the coolest real estate charities in your area?  

I ask that when you donate money to charity this coming year to please consider giving to "Operation Injured Soldiers" and/or "Homes for Troops".

Yeah, he likely would have lost, but if there was any sincerity in his remarks, I give him some credit...He said:"[I do] not love Congress [and that the body] is not operating as it should....It may be shocking that someone in public office would actually decide to voluntarily step down, but I reached a conclusion that if I could help to create jobs by growing a business, or help educate our children in a university or college, or help a philanthropy or charity, I would be getting more done to help people in their daily lives than Congress is currently doing."

I think giving to charity is important, but I liked it better when it was an investment, even if the ROI is not that great it is a cool academic exercise.

This tries to take into account your tax situation and assumes you always itemize (even late into your mortgage when your interest will be lower -- I am assuming you give to charities, and pay state and local taxes too!!)

They love to get good press by helping out with these things.I would look into those avenues along with charities,churches,and government programs.
