Atlanta is a lot slower, and they don't tend to trust outsiders, even though they feel more affiliation with Yankees than Westerners.

After searching for a real estate agent in Houston on Biggerpockets I keep getting responses from people from New Western Acquisitions.

I doubt you need anymore schooling on how to live in the cold  :)Most of the folks I talk to through the last 10 to 15 years  who bought low end duplex's in major mid western metro areas got KILLED financially.
