Rumor is Cook County (Which is set for July 7th I think) will be the largest ever for a scavenger.  

@Andrew Cook I have a couple of thoughts here. 

The guys will quickly see that I'm understaffed to do all the cooking with so many grills, and some will probably hop on the trailer and help. 

obviously I won't take a plane at this point to anywhere unless something big is cooking and at the same time how would you know?

I'm a huge book wonk, and enjoy swimming, the outdoors in general, home brewing, travel, and cooking/bbq.My goals, to start, at least:Never stop learningNetwork - Partner - Develop relationships in the areaIncome - Income - IncomeDeveloping systems and working on time managementRehab jobs on the side to add to the ability to produce #3"Retire" from my day job by 40I'm also quite interested in personal finance topics, as well as harnessing the power of technology and data to make quick decisions; although I generally abhor black boxes.

Plus I get away with cooking for people (handymen) to cut costs.

This year, Cook County is holding 3, yes 3, tax sales.  

Keep you motivated and there is typically a nugget or two that you'll get from each one.The one piece of advice I'd offer is that, if possible, I would suggest not investing in Cook County.
