im located in MA and am investing in chicago for the cashflow. the worst deal there looks amazing to me through the lens of a MA girl hahaha. i was very resistant to going long distance, but am so happy i did. i had also looked into those cities you listed, but the partner i was buying this last one with was ultimately most comfortable with chicago as she travels there for work sometimes. one thing to just keep in mind is that it's the c/d areas that look best on paper anywhere, and look AMAZING in those cities, but you have to factor in increased volatility due to nonpayment, late payments, etc.

Please know the facts about me and my situation before making uneducated accusations.

@Karen Flores You might want to fill in the details so the rest of us know exactly what happened.It's easy to throw around those kinds of accusations, but it would be better to know whether it was more than sour grapes.

Somebody wanting to sue for you backing out of a bad deal or accusing you of selling them a property with defects like unknown termite damage).

But I told my self if I want to succeed throw the nerves out the window put your big girl draws on and answer the phone every time.

Retrospect, I wish we would have been more rigid on our criteria, but the birth of our baby girl was quickly approaching and we needed child care.

Don't get me wrong, you're going to go through a stretch looking for the right guy (or girl) but when you find them, keep them.
