I spend most of my time simply discounting what might be bad advice, frankly I don't like feeling that I have to do that, I'd rather go into deeper aspects of investing, but the first issue is to ensure folks get in trouble or do unethical things as they don't realize this is a long haul business.I've not seen a guru or anyone selling something not claim they had expertise, got wealthy or reached financial freedom and telling folks anyone can do what they did or can achieve the same with their product.
