We did own a condo in Park City Utah...our first investment although we did it more for fun...paid for with inherited money.  

Update to thread- Well, we're officially in Utah now.

The mayor's plan didn't stand a chance.According to the the U-T the largest amount of new housing units built in a year in the last five years was 6,400, while the projected need is between 17-24,000 units.

Very odd management system - but all the company is sourced in Utah (one location in IL).  

You can take advice about people that are thinking about it or people that actually are doing it, for myself I would take the latter.Hehe, man I love Utah :) I still have to challenge my valuations with the HUDs but mine should come in around 5% here :) Got my insurance down around 2%.

Utah is also a hot market right now. 

The sale is at minimum 3 weeks from notice of sale in Utah.
