It would seem that commercial real estate is in a nationwide recession while commercial real estate in a few places like San Francisco and New York is in a downright depression. 

Specifically, there's job growth (Intel, Honda, Amazon, Nationwide, etc) and the population is growing (unlike Cleveland or Cincy).

There's so many catalysts for population and job growth (Intel, Honda, Amazon, Nationwide Hospital, etc).

I expect some hefty appreciation (I am confident this will take place in my area- also likely nation-wide) by the end of 2023.

I can't speak for the Indianapolis market, but Columbus is supported by huge additions to the business sector like Intel, Google, Amazon, Nationwide Childrens Hospital and more!

There are plenty of nationwide networks and Facebook groups you can join for free (Realtors have similar access to better platforms through their brokerages and personal referral networks), and you can learn how to do subject to and wrap deals in an hour using google and reading.

In Columbus there are multiple areas you can look at that have proximity to major hospital networks. 43206 and 43205 (nationwide children's hospital), 43201, 43215, 43202 (Ohio State Wexner Medical Center 4th largest in the state of Ohio), 43214, 43220 (Riverside Methodist Hospital and 2nd largest in Ohio) are just to name a few. southern Ohio won't have close proximity and Detroit I wouldn't argue is a medical hub.
