>> if you want to do that one day, have awesome insurance, and build a system to get guests' email addresses from day 1.2. use a software like Hospitable to sync your airbnb and vrbo calendars for the same property. you can also set up auto messaging on there.3. the amount of repeat guests i think depends on your market and what type of guest you cater to. i'd think driveable markets would have more repeat guests, or places that accommodate traveling professionals. i probably wouldn't start up direct booking until you've really found your footing as a host.

I've heard of nurses addicted to substances but have never met one (that I am aware of).Nurses are people like everyone else--some are good and some are bad.To address the main question, I'd venture to say that it's primarily dependent on the location and whether the area demands a lot of travel nurses or not.I am currently on assignment in Medford, OR and the hospital I worked for was heavily staffed by travel nurses, and temporary housing is scarce (housing in general is scarce) so accommodations are expensive--i was paying 1700/month for a 1bdr cottage, now paying 1200/month for a studio. That said, travel nurse pay rates are dropping all over, and if they continue to drop them there will be a decrease in demand for travel nurse housing.

7+ bedroom homes do well in any tourist heavy area (we are in Tampa/Clearwater/St Pete Market) as they can accommodate large groups and simple land demand principles apply as there are many large groups wanting to rent accommodations and there is not enough supply.

Whatever your peers tell you, you don't have to shop at Express or Nordstrom to look professional, regardless of whether you need to accommodate cold weather.Relocation costs - possible, sure, but not a recurring expense so eventually you just move forward.Increasing rents are a good thing when it comes to REI.
