I see owners charging what I think are pretty fair rents to cover their costs...utilities/washer/dryer/furniture/internet and toys...and such...add in vacancy and convenience and to me owner is not getting rich...but the potential tenants on the other hand feel like they're being gouged....of course they are getting paid 2x probably what permanent staff is making, but then don't want to give that up to pay for increased housing costs.

Although this is for Subchapter M, this is relatively consistent with the regs of 48, which states that real property is property consisting of land and improvements to land, such as 1) buildings, 2) inherently permanent structures, and 3) structural components.A “building” generally is any structure or edifice enclosing a space within its walls, usually covered by a roof to provide shelter or housing, parking, offices, displays, or sales space.

Check with local ordinances, but often you can place those "rent to own" sheds right on property lines because they are not considered permanent structures (they are on skids).
