Hey Stephanie, If I am being totally honest I think you should hire a property manager.

I totally agree with @Mike Lambert on a STR/LTR investment standpoint on Belize. 

I know there does not seem to be a strong presence on BP for people in the New River Valley area (Pulaski, Radford, Blacksburg, Roanoke) but I would like to try and get some type of networking event going (either in person or in an online group).

I am saying that your monthly heloc cost looks way too high if you look at the total amount borrow and your rate your monthly payment should be much lower on the heloc. 

If this was a piece of land in midtown or downtown that would be totally different than a piece of land on a rough block in the east or west side of Detroit. 

However, just when I THOUGHT I DID, often something happened totally out of left field that wrecked havoc on my predictions and analysis.
