Dan Turkel Texas doesn't have reciprocity with other states.But they may wave certain education and experience requirements for agents active in other states looking to gain license in Texas.

And I've heard that some people make an offer higher than asking price with the understanding that the seller will, to reciprocate that higher offer, pay some/all of the closing costs. 

These are States with Reciprocal Agreements, where income is reported only in the State you live in even though you receive income in the other State.

Im currently working on my reciprocal License so that i can have it hung out in Philly also.

I ultimately chose to get my License in Massachusetts and am having it reciprocated down to Connecticut.

Renewal hours can be done online once you get your license.The AZ School of Real Estate generally offers a 10-day crash course, that's about the quickest way possible.You might check with the Department of Real Estate as some states have reciprocity agreements with AZ that allow the 90 hours to be reduced. 

There is a natural law of reciprocity that will pay you back for the time spent just being around these people and learning what you can from them.
