I love talking about this stuff so much that my kids complain about it constantly, so I thought helping other people understand some of the general contours of the industry from a legal perspective would be a better outlet than lecturing teenagers for a fourth time about what a defeasance is!

I’ve considered multifamily or duplexes, but from what I’ve heard, they’re unideal right now, so I’m leaning towards STRs.I’ve put together a list of areas that seem STR-friendly with good tourism appeal, and I’d love to get feedback from people who know the San Antonio market well.

Well, this my opinion, if you like unpredictability, constant change and people/contractors with no regards to you or your property then "YES" flips and STRs are the way to go...LOL....I love it!!!

What seems most attractive for now seems to be multi-family markets starting out and eventually moving into 5-20 unit properties for growth.
