About 3 years ago my freshman year of high school I was told if I was to house hack after high school I could own 5 properties in 10 year's.I took that to heart and have been saving money since then reading books and listening to podcasts about finance, business and real estate.

Crowdfunding is essentially old-school syndications that use newer regulations that allow them to market over the Internet. 

I've been focusing on 1980+ or newer and Mahomet, IL which is the highest median income city in Champagin County around $115,000 with the top school districts in state (Chicago, Naperville, etc can sway statistics easy). 

Meaning, since there is a school near by, yearly school bill is about $1,700, then we have the property tax and the Kennesaw tax.

The University related events can make or break a full year, so you really have to capitalize on Graduation, Parents Weekend, and home football games.  

I bought one in Philly and got schooled pretty good.. we made money but holy cow.

I’ve given food to hungry people, I’ve given the shirt off my back to an old naked woman, I've bought shoes for kids, built a school for aboriginal tribal families in the mountains, and handed out toothbrushes.  

Fiance (Spokane, WA) just graduated from college and is working on getting experience in real estate looking at property management.
