A slow leak has caused $2.5K damage to a rental property of mine.

Of course its leaking already within the year of it being done.

Even in the best scenario you would have spent $1,500-$2,000 to update the smoke detectors and C02 testers, cleaned the carpet, re-glaze the bathtub, update any leaks and light paint and wall repairs.  

Can I write off all expenses from the trip, such as hotel, meals and travel costs like gas, or airfare?

Currently I have 2 accouts in my name at my current address's I have the property management meter gas & electric which is the main meter for the priority & my own which is my apartment.Ask me how I had 2 accounts at the same address?

Consider putting in a separate electrical meter, a separate water meter, and separate gas meter.

The most common issue is a leak under the sink or dishwasher.   

During that time they supposedly found a leak which was beyond the scope of the maintenance  and i had to pay a plumber to come in saturday morning while the guests were there. thats on top of the "deep clean" which cost $300 and was somehow done in a couple of hours. 

If so, do you allow gas grills or just charcoal grills? 

Gas stations on the other hand do affect value.
