I told most folks here on BG and in many seminars that if I sit at computer long enough I can dig a lot of great information up to prove what a great city Charlotte is.

@Zak Marinko If the basement isn't currently living space, dig a few holes around the perimeter to see how low your footings are. 

Next see if you can dig a bunch of folks who are suing him to file a Lis pendens on any possible damages in the suit to make it clear he will never see a dime. 

Very interesting as I haven't been paying too much attention to the lease structure yet but definitely should.I'll dig a bit deeper and would love to hear your thoughts once I have more info

It is a little harder today than a year or two ago, but there are always opportunities, sometimes just have to dig a little harder to find them.

@Jon Klaus, (sorry for being a year late to the party)can you "dig" a bit more with your floor installer guys? 

Basically you dig a hole on one side of the break,  which would hopefully be off the neighbors property, and you dig a second hole on your rental's property, they pull a chain through the existing sewer, then attach that chain to a poly style sewer line.

Makes me a little wary, but I'm definitely willing to get into contract and dig a little deeper.

Insurance can be a tricky business, but it seems like you got some positive feedback from Kin Insurance.However, it's always wise to be a bit skeptical and dig a bit deeper.
