Only 12 states require NMLS  you can go the NMLS website very easy just type that in your browser then do agent look up.. and type in the persons name.. for instance type in my name and you will see me come up.. this is the federal registry.. and U need a state license as well as this.for the other states this is not required.

On Realtor.com (in a browser), you want to scroll to the bottom of the listing where you will find a "Source's Property ID", which is the MLS#.
