To clarify, I did get a rental license before I got my tenant and the issues I am facing now are part of the yearly rental inspections where the communication between me and the property management company broke down last year on the rental inspection follow up steps.

Well, I do want my girls who are in their 20's to also have real estate.  

Fix anything thats broke , give it a fresh coat of paint and rent it out .
