I know enough people who have angel invested in tech startups and have multiples of millions, the early investors in bitcoin etc might have done similar.

If I cite an example about how someone became rich buying Bitcoin, is that an argument that Bitcoin is a sound investment?

One's level of access to quality notes is highly dependent on the quality of the relationships that one has built with loan traders. 

You wouldn't walk up to a stock trader and say "hey, I don't have any money, but I know how to analyze stocks, give me some of yours to invest and we'll split the profit".

The stock market is incredibly volatile, so unless you're a day trader capitalizing on the fluctuation or you're someone parking their money in an index fund for the next 30 years that's not the most appetizing option.

my disclaimer...yes I am currently in the real estate industry but was also a professional floor trader in my previous life.
