Also you could try to find members of a university organization like Greek life or some members of a soccer team etc.

So we then  painted the whole joint, repaired the rotted fascias, replaced the ancient AC/heater, new pool pump equipment, new concrete driveway to replace the crumbling asphalt, new landscape, updated bathrooms (resurfaced shower, nice, new cabinets/sinks, but off Craigslist), more new flooring extended throughout the entire house... even some upgraded pool furniture and a nice BBQ outdoor kitchen as we were told we are in a high end area that requires these types of amenities.

My tenants were a bit freaked out, naturally.Turns out, some scammer apparently pulled my info from an ancient Craig's List ad I'd posted years ago, and created a dummy ad at mynewplace dot com.

I live in Santa Clara and am software consultant by profession so most of the real-estate jargons are greek at this point.But I am willing to learn, and was wondering if a 3 months course for a real-estate agent license makes sense even if I really don't want to make that my primary profession (I am told it does not pay very well :).Investments are a different game for sure.
