BUT, if you can find qualified tenants that don't have pets, it will be less wear and tear(or less likely to have excessive), less likeliness of noise issues, less issues with insurance coverage, local ordinances and breed specific bans, etc.In either case, it's real estate, so it depends on location, location, location...does your location have a enough applicants that you can be choosy enough to not have Section8 or pets, but at the same time get the desired rental income?

Shouldn’t be a problem for renters to stay put while roof is done, most roofers provide a nice form/notice that you can post notice to the tenants (tells them to be expect noise and also be cautious of items hanging from walls/ceiling might shift due to the work)

It seems to be connected with the house to the right of it, but not the house to the left (there are windows and about a 3 foot gap).Aside from noise from the connected house, what are the pros or cons with row houses?
