Said lot is 1 of 21 being sold by the developer.

don't know but Oregon is quite strict in fact you need a developers license to rehab and resell homes .. even if your only doing one a year.. you can only work on homes you owner occ if its to be resold to the public you need a GC license for a developers license..

I keep digging, but it's been tricky to try to invest my few hard-earned dollars wisely when it feels like most of the deals are gambles.Then I see highly-leveraged projects / development-plays from some aggressive investors -- also more intense and scary than I'd like. 

Travel for business development/sales $10K/yr.Would love your 2 cents on how I should assign the expenses (e.g. which companies should pay them) as they all benefit each business and assigning expenses to certain businesses would affect partner Kevin differently?

My full-time job involves consulting with local governments and developers in land entitlements, ordinance preparation, and coastal development regulations.  

@Symchay Bendu I think the areas mentioned in the report linked to are to develop green areas IE Parks, playgrounds etc.

Looking to buy a primary home in the area on the prospect of area developing and also utilizing large lot for expansion/ADUs in the future.

Looking for my first (real) deal in Chicago or the greater Chicago region in general. I would say I  already completed a deal but it was more of a happy accident, I purchased my condo as a short sale several years ago...
