I drove by the other day, went to the back yard (of course no one home), my back door wood trim got damage by his dogs and they didn't pay the dogs fees.

Being clean shaven, beard trimmed, hair tidy, clothes clean without damage, a smile and a handshake, etc is more important to me than if you drive a nice car.

We've used 50% Reposed Grey on the walls and Snowbound on the trim. 

The inspection found many many minor problems (like bad outlets, dangerous branches to trim, little minor cracks here and there following concrete blocks but all normal stuff, no diagonal stuff)  and 1 major problem, i.e. a couple of rotten/wet wooden beam and wooden floor plank in the crawl space, probably a few thousands dollars (2000-3000) to fix/them, no big deal. 

Main points we focused on for the flip were: kitchen- matching appliances and clean backsplash with quartz countertopsBathrooms: we tiled bath and shower but actually used same tile and same vanities/lighting so seems that different styles aren't major-original wood floors but first time with contractor that could've done better refinish but think it was major selling point for main floor (used same wood style alternative flooring for kitchen and both baths) then new carpet for basement and spent more for the padding than carpet look/quality, makes huge difference.We used same grey paint color for all walls with clean white trim and baseboard so think those were huge points for immediate offers!

Can you trim the end of the counter to make it fit?

We were initially planning to do "charcoal-ish" color on the brick with a more traditional trim/door color and stain all the wood for the front porch and carport as its a little more "neutral/normal" for buyers, but once we decided we were going to move into the house, my wife went a little more bold with the colors.   

Look at the details like caulking, flooring transitions, window trim and treatments, and exterior details (siding/roofing/trim/material transitions).

Cover the windows and trim and tape the ceiling off with tape and 6"paper.
