The risk of being 70 sitting in a nursing home kicking yourself for not trying harder in life, wishing you had the guts to take a risk.

I’ve been renting that out at 3k per month to travel nurses- and I’ve been renting a room or apartment for myself.

Coming from a travel nurse, I would be willing to pay just a little bit more to have laundry in unit and not have an extra 1/2 bath.

At the time she entered the nursing home she only had title to one parcel of land, her primary residence.

Not sure what kinds of permits would have been required at the time.The seller inherited the property, but she's a nurse and works 4-5 12-hr days and doesn't live in the house, so she doesn't want to manage it.It's WELL worth $49k to ME.

I took quite a few apps from interested people but ended up settling on a young nurse who had just got a job at a nearby hospital.

Rented both units of our duplex out for 3 months to traveling nurses on a short term contract which gave us 100% occupancy this past winter (although at a discounted price point) and I have two 1 month+ stays at my SFH later this summer/fall.

Possible to make furnished rentals for hospital on other side of bridge for traveling nurses. 

Taxes only to show I had an income but I also take usually a 1 year maternity leave and when travel nursing I took 2-3 months off in between contracts

Some are great for appreciation, many for cash flow, some offer high ROI for STR, student rentals, travel nursing, etc.
