I can't give you any specific guidance on Jackson as I don't know the market.For me, the biggest driver of a multifamily market is employment.  

I immediately landed a construction job as a CDL driver for a small construction/plumbing company.

@Samuel McCart it is good that you seem to know what you want to do (wholesale/flip) before becoming a landlord, but I would ask yourself why you set an arbitrary number of deals before you keep one that will ultimately be the driver that provides you freedom.

One of the richest guys I know drives a trash truck but he has drivers for the other 149 trucks he owns .
