I want to manage the property myself (this will be outlined in the operating agreement for the newly formed LLC) and I am contemplating different property management software.

What property management software do you use? 

Currently, a casino and a laundromat occupy the 2 units. 

., you will need a POS software, an accounting software, cash/credit card reconciliations, refunds/credit, additional fees, here and there repairs/renovations, and a bunch of other stuff involved.Location is a big part of it. 

If you have only a few properties and do not have many transactions, Stessa may be good enough.If you have many properties, maybe you should try some other property management softwares or accounting software.

Their integrated software dialer makes it easy once you get someone on the phone to take notes, make a call disposition or to set appointments right in the interface. 

Then I completely switched industries into home automation, with a focus on networking and programming their proprietary software.

What is it about their software that is making your eyes cross?

@Ashley Hughes I recommend a free software to use because, first off, it's free and, secondly, it is just so much easier to do the rental process online.
