We have access to all of this great technology, but at the end of the day it is the basics that will help you achieve the most success!

I use flipping both as a hobby and as a way to generate cash for my other, longer-term investments (mostly technology incubation).That may change in the future, of course...especially if I ever get good at this real estate stuff...

As technology changes, the oil industry might have a massive rebirth.  

They are not as efficient as the newer cold climate ductless heat pumps - some of this is due to technology differences, but most has to do with energy losses arising from the air exchanger and ducted delivery.I cannot dispute your anecdotal statement that your duplex with a heat pump produces your largest bills {I presume you mean heating}.  

It is a turning point in real estate and technology and if the two can make a pair it could set a whole new nitch in the community.

Technology can do so much.  

Some of the finest comedy shows on TV so far as I'm concerned :) I'm not allowed to watch those shows ... or CSI {I have a background in computer/communications security} with my wife.I always love the token goth character or whatever you want to call them that is doing all the computer stuff... gotta wear all black, have lots of tattoos, have crazy died hair, and have lots of piercings on you won't understand the technology! 

The use of technology available to all of us enables remote service.

(Granted I leverage my ability to use technology and research like crazy so... maybe everyone isn't capable of this) Obviously once you build trust with a certain few individuals but when you're new and know no one..... ? 

I've traveled a LOT of this country, and a parts of many others, and if a dude in rural Guatemala has a smart phone, then you have no excuse for not running your business with technology, leveraging it to your advantage, and taking yourself out of the equation as a barrier.
