But seriously, that sounds too convenient…I hope your attorney call goes well, and I hope that if there isn’t any strong evidence, in the form of proof of funds from this “buyer” that you can put this “partner” in their place and remove their right to own even 1% of the property.

Most Trustees don't want real estate to manage nor do they want rentals, the LLCs can also be the property manager and fund the trust.The intended added benefits of the Series LLCs are evident and under the worst situation I don't see them being any more ineffective than a standard LLC, to me, there is only an upside.
