VA loan, section 8

My uncle lives in San Diego and bought a house in Las Vegas earlier this year using a VA loan. He and my aunt were all set to move there for retirement. But due to some unexpected family stuff, they were forced to hold off on their plan and push back the move to Las Vegas by about 2 years.

Now, to avoid paying for two houses at once, they're planning to rent out the Las Vegas house until the family issue is sorted out in California. Once that's done, they'll finally make the move to Las Vegas as they originally wanted. They just put the house up for rent and they've got some folks applying for Section 8 housing.

The thing is, since their house is tied to a VA loan, they're wondering if that could cause any problems with renting to Section 8 applicants. Does their situation interfere with their eligibility to rent to section 8 tenants?
