Maybe some demo work, something that doesn't have such a big impact on the quality of our new house.

I enjoy demo and tile work, and I'm getting better at drywall work all the time.

You can research out the ying yang but still in the end, it could burn you.

We have a single family we recently picked up in Richmond, ME, which is now demoed and in the process of being rehabbed for a flip in the spring.

What if the project goes thru demo stage and the rest of the work never gets done?

I just pulled a general permit yesterday so some light demo can be done (taking out 2 archways) and I have HVAC and plumbing locked up, hope to get electrical locked up in the next few days as well as my carpentry guy.  

I recommend you try demos of several different ones and see which service provides you the best value.
