@William Hochstedler I know this is an old thread, but if you or anyone else is still active on BP I'm curious if you'd be able to give an update on the Ogden area as far as opportunities / future growth.

It's good to keep the 401k to show reserves to the bank in the future in order to qualify for more conventional mortgages.

For me, that time horizon is really long, 10 years is a very long time, in that time you could have sold this crappy property and bought 5 better ones that would be better to rent out.For future prospects, do more in depth valuation on your investment.

So essentially I would like to funnel all of my cash + future cash towards building a rental portfolio and flipping homes during the downtime at work (storm season starts around march and typically ends by November).What do you guys think?
