I am also working on a plan to find Private Lenders within my IRA, but obviously harder than doing a traditional loan outside of an IRA.In summary, if I get say a 15% return inside or outside my IRA, they are both a good thing in my opinion.Dan Dietz

It's very easy for the super-wealthy to manipulate their tax burden...and therefore your entire proposed system...Consider a couple things:- Bill Gates could cash in his entire fortune and have a single-year tax burden of about $25B;- That $25B accounts for about 2% of the total personal tax paid last year, a very non-trivial amount;- Bill Gates have some ultra-wealthy friends who have already aligned the spending of their fortunes with Gates and his charities;- Given how few people currently vote in our elections when they have an equal say as everyone else (people think their vote doesn't matter), I think it's safe to assume that the voting population will drop considerably if most people felt like there small number of votes really didn't count;- Given the drop in total number of people who vote, Gates and his friends could easily manipulate the vote if they wanted to.Why would Gates and his friends do this?
