What the poster may not be considering is whether the words and sentiments they are expressing are often not something that can be removed.

You can send them a letter expressing your interest or better yet, try to obtain a phone number if you can from an online search or using TLO.com or something. 

(hence the value of broker relationships) We presented an offer that was significantly below what the seller had expressed, and then negotiated back and forth over a period of several weeks.
