It's funny when going down Clark St up to Devon Ave has trendy bars/coffee shops and suddenly North of there the retail is barely gentrified it's moving more and more north though every year.

@Adam R. since no one else answered you I'll at least give you a reply, though I was kind of hoping someone else would say something on the topic.Your question is phrased in such a way that non-attorneys might be hesitant to answer it, since you're basically asking what's legal and what's not.I have never heard of anything regarding sub-metering (if I remember the RUBS system correctly) for utilities being mentioned in the law.

In addition to updating fits and finishes.As millennials age we will probably see migration to the suburbs anyway, but Gen Z is right behind us to continue to rent in the more trendy areas.New construction at the higher end may have more offices incorporated into them, it's difficult to say.
