If you did, would you have different management for the travel-nurses vs vacationers?

What you want is a marketing “ success” reservationist who connects vacationers to your landing page for each property. 

That's a lot of competition for the same vacationers.  

there is demand in some areas and for specialized reasons (not many vacationers overall compared to cities like LA etc) and the entry point is way lower. 

@Shawn McCormickI'm just a frequent vacationer to the area and have often thought about what it would be like to own a property in Orlando.

Ours is kind of a like a little compound with walking paths and houses that are in close proximity to one another.It's a relatively small town, a lot of vacationers, and we are looking to rent long term.I wanted to post units at the upper end of what I thought market would be, but not having a great idea of what the demand would be, to have some flexibility to negotiate.

I would like to hear from anyone else doing STR:what your common tenant is like (business, families, vacationers, etc),what lengths of stays,occupancy and seasonality you experience. 

Obviously IMO if you’re going to be renting out the house to tenants and vacationers I would think it might be wise to have it pumped once a year.

That area is more pinpointed towards vacationers with the huge lake out that way.

We also. have a Navy base here.PCB is super STR friendly, so you will be able to rent to vacationers as well as hospital staff/nurses and military folks.
