You'll need architecture drawings/blueprints, etc. and a compelling reason your request should be approved.

I know this would normally seem crazy in a small town but there is a HIGH demand for pet-friendly rentals (both Invermere, and people working at Panorama Ski Resort) and none of the rental companies are accommodating these people with pets (for good reason- I know).

I'm all in for around $160k with purchase, rehab, holding, financing, architecture, etc. and it's rented at $1500/month.

Unless you need to preserve the historical architecture, you should consider converting the roof or get on the wait list to repair it.

Besides the architecture/construction considerations (building code, finding a contractor that know how to work with containers, etc), does anyone has any experience with these, specifically in terms of financing and insurance? 

Zoning petitions, architectural challenges, contractors, etc. 

My background is architecture and construction, and I feel I most need to learn more on the business/legal/tax side of the process.

(closing costs to buy, cost of money during project, utilities, insurance, architectural drawings, Permitting, closing costs to sell, etc...)
