Do you have a basic set of questions that help you narrow in on what the seller needs and wants?

1x6 used to “sink” basic pine bi fold doors to make narrow hall feel wider.

I'm hoping to narrow down a couple markets and spend time learning their by-laws/zoning through and through.

I'd try to narrow your focus (ROI, location, strategy) to find more success. 

How about narrowing down the specific area and getting on the horn or looking up the HOA info?

Any possibility of getting a narrower range of the cost of remediation?

The issue is Detroit is a very block by block city so you’re going to want to narrow down your searches down literally to specific blocks within specific subdivisions and not just looking at zip code by zip code. so, while you can get answers of specific subdivisions that people may recommend, it’s best to make sure the specific block you are about to purchase the property on isn’t a rough one. that being said, happy to chat about Detroit real estate anytime !  

At this stage we have it narrowed down to Reunion and Championsgate.

I have the prospective tenant pay for the background check but I have it narrowed down to my first choice by that point, then if there is a problem I move to the second choice, etc.
