So I'm very confused asking if there are any institutions that will take bitcoin as down payment (Which seems extravagantly easy because a bank or lender  could/would simply convert to USD) vs you stating that they take them as collateral, which seems like the more difficult task.

The reality is that you're buying in difficult market with high prices and higher interest rates.

In fact, many framed their "pitch" that they would be in gold but gold is too heavy to transport and too difficult to store so Bitcoin was really the only answer.  

@Tyler Rayman I have found that monthly rentals are not difficult to manage at all.

Very difficult to operate low income housing through 3rd party management, especially over an extended period of time.
